Inspired by a childhood spent in a thoughtfully restored home filled with meaningful pieces, Songbird Interiors was founded on the belief that beautiful homes should be lived in.

Growing up with a mother who owned her own interior design and contracting business for 25 years shaped the way I think about a home. I learned early that the most memorable homes aren't just beautiful—they're welcoming, personal, and thoughtfully curated over time.

Where It All Began

Songbird Interiors

Growing up, I had a front-row seat to the transformation of our family home. My mother owned her own interior design and contracting business for 25 years, and I watched as she thoughtfully brought our home to life over time.

Our home wasn't filled with things chosen all at once. Swedish antiques lived alongside comfortable furnishings, oil paintings, well-loved books, and pieces that had a story to tell. Each room felt personal and collected.

But what stayed with me most wasn't simply how our home looked. It was how it felt.

Our study was one of those places. With wood-paneled walls, a comfortable sofa surrounded by shelves of well-loved books, artwork, throws and pillows. It was welcoming, peaceful, and cozy. It was a room our family actually lived in—a place where we naturally gathered and spent time together.

Those early experiences taught me that beautiful design isn't simply about creating a beautiful room. It's about creating a home that welcomes people in.

That philosophy is at the heart of Songbird Interiors.

I believe the most memorable homes feel as though they've been thoughtfully curated over time. They blend old and new, beauty and function, meaningful pieces and everyday necessities.

A home should reflect the people who live there—not simply a particular trend or design style.

My goal is to create interiors that feel timeless and personal, but above all, to create homes where people feel comfortable gathering, living, and making memories.

Because the homes we remember most aren't simply the most beautiful. They're the ones where we felt most at home.

We’ll begin with a complimentary call to discuss your project, your goals, and how Songbird Interiors may be able to help.

02 — IN-HOME DESIGN CONSULTATION

In-Home Design Consultation

We’ll meet in your home to walk through the space, discuss your needs and priorities, and begin establishing the direction for your project.

03 — PROPOSAL & AGREEMENT

Proposal & Agreement

Following the consultation, you’ll receive a customized proposal outlining the scope of work, design services, and next steps for moving forward.

04 — DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

Design & Development

This is where your design begins to take shape through thoughtful floor planning, furnishings, finishes, materials, and selections tailored to your home.

05 — PROCUREMENT & PROJECT COORDINATION

Procurement & Project Coordination

Once the design is approved, we’ll manage ordering and coordinate the details needed to bring the design together.

06 — INSTALLATION & STYLING

Installation & Styling

The final pieces come together as furnishings and décor are installed and styled. The result is a finished home that feels thoughtful, welcoming, and uniquely yours.
